A sideways scan usually comes from a feeder that grabbed a page the wrong way, so only one or two pages of the document are wrong. Rotating the whole file is not what you want. This tool lets you target a subset: all pages, odd pages, even pages, or an explicit page list.

Rotation is written as a page attribute rather than by re-rendering the content, so the operation is instant and lossless even on a 300-page scan. The output keeps the original resolution.

Is rotation permanent?

Does rotating reduce image quality?
No. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed. The page is flagged as rotated, which is lossless.
Which direction is 90 degrees?
90 degrees rotates clockwise in the same way the rotate-right button in a PDF reader behaves.
